About LRBC
Leesville Road Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Congregation that gathers in south-eastern Durham County. Beginning in the 80's as a church plant, LRBC continues today as a vibrant, family-oriented church. We are committed to ministries that reach people of all ages in a variety of ways. From a very active Children's Choir and a weekly Children's Church and Mid-week GA's and RA's to a busy and lively Happy Hearts (55 and over) group, we want to make sure that everyone has a place to serve and be served.
Our Sunday Services begin with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., then our worship gathering at 11:00 which usually dismisses at 12:15. We gather again at 6:00 p.m. for a more in-depth Bible Study and a monthly members meeting to discuss any pertinent Church business matters. Our Children's Choir also meets at this time to rehearse. We gather on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. for Royal Ambassadors (school-age boys) and Girls in Action (school-age girls) and an adult prayer meeting and Bible Study. Nursery services are provided at all meetings.
